October 9, 2010. Mayor Comitta is honored to be the "Grand Marshall" of the 2010 WCU Homecoming Parade. Following in the car behind the Mayor are WCU President Greg Weisenstein and Sandra Weisenstein.  As Grand Marshall, Mayor Comitta had the pleasure of announcing the Homecoming Parade student organization floats in the annual competition.  The Mayor congratulates the first place winners, the LGBTQA organization, and thanks all WCU student groups for their energetic efforts to present very entertaining and creative "shows" for the judges and fans.
